Colleague Discussion
Inclusion in the classroom is becoming more and more common. What are some ways we can teach the nature of science to a classroom with students with exceptionalities? (This includes learning levels that are below and above average. Plus, we can't forget about the students in the middle!)
Student Discussion
Science is a way of understanding the natural world. It pushes the curiosity within us and allows us to connect the past with the present.
Please give an example of science in the natural world, and another example of how science can connect the past with the present. Lastly, please share one thing about science that you are curious about. (Just to get the ideas rolling... some of the things we will be discussing this year include magnets, electricity, genetics, and things that effect the Earth's surface.)
